Here's a picture of the quiver I made last year. I made it from some scrap leather. The size was determined by the minimum width of the scrap. I would use wider leather if I did it again, so I could use larger folds to stiffen it more lengthwise. I would also make a more gradual transition between the tubular part and the hood, to make it stiffer. I made the strap pretty long. It hangs almost parallel with the ground when still hunting. When my arm is fully extended my fingers are touching the arrows. I know I am moving too fast when the arrows start moving in the quiver.
