I broke the tip on the bamboo backed white oak board. Looks like I had a glue failure where the oak and bamboo pieces are smooth near the tip. Titebond is supposed to be stronger than wood and the bamboo and the wood are still together in the rest of the break. But the wood was really really dry too and that may have been part of the problem. I had gotten the tip bending a little too much and I broke it while increasing brace height. It was not a bamboo failure. I sawed the tip off the bow and will make a kid's bow from the leftovers. Posted by Hello
