I have been out of commission for a week (wife in the hospital). I will be out of town most of this week. In my spare time I have just been working on some tapered arrows and Joseph's pinewood derby car.

Well, this bow is not going to make 60-70 pounds. Max is 45 pounds. Too narrow. It looks real pretty on the tillering tree though :)

I have formed the bottom and top limbs, but I am going to run them through the heat bending process again because of spring back. I have the top limb cooling from it's second heating now.

Started working on the big bow blank I made from billets today.

I went to the hardware store and got some 3/8" poplar dowels. They spine about 55#. I have tapered one end of each dowel using the instructions that came with my bowyer's edge. I will make these barreled shafts.
